Project Management & Planning: Shields' experienced management team offer a complete Managed service ensuring all legal requirements are met including CDM Regulated Projects. Our Qualified Team with many years experience acting in a Planning supervisory role, or working as Principal contractors, will handle all aspects of the planning phase. Coordinating all aspects of the project and managing sub contractors and security on site. This service includes Site Surveys assuring all Health and Safety and Quality matters are managed and the preparation of all required documentation including Health and Safety files and Notification to the Health and Safety Executive for larger Projects.

De-Installation Services: Shields have our own specialised, fully trained de-installation engineers with many years of experience in all areas of Telecoms equipment and cable removals and are able to safely remove your redundant network hardware from site once traffic has been migrated to its new platform.

Our engineers have performed specialised services for many operators over the last 30 years, on over 7,500 sites, without a single interruption to service. These projects include Mechanical, Electronic, Digital and Power Equipment being removed including hazardous substances such as Lead Acid Batteries, from all types of Telecom sites from Fixed Switch Sites to Remote Base Station sites in all areas of Europe, most sites requiring carefully coordinated planning to ensure Cranes, Hiab Lorries, Lorries, Helicopters, All terrain Vehicles, 4 wheel drive trucks, Road closures, Rigging, Antenna Radiation Safety and all other aspects of the project are managed with efficiency.
